My name is George Webb and I’m a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist based in Oxford. I specialise in working with adults who have experienced brain injuries or other neurological conditions.

I have extensive understanding and knowledge in working with people who have experienced a stroke or any other form of brain injury, and who are having difficulties with their speech and/or language.

I also have thorough experience of working with long-term and progressive conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, MND and Parkinson’s disease. I am a certified LSVT LOUD therapist. LSVT LOUD, an evidence based treatment for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions, not only enhances vocal loudness and speech clarity, but also boosts communication confidence and improves facial expressivity.

I can also offer assistance to those that are experiencing stammering.

Whilst completing an undergraduate BA in English Language and Communication at Cardiff University in 2011, I developed my interests that led me to complete an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy at University of Essex in 2014.

 Prior to setting up Neuro Speech Therapy Oxford in 2021, I worked in the NHS for 6 years. In 2015 I began working at the Oxford Centre for Enablement, a Level 1 specialist inpatient rehabilitation unit for patients with complex needs. I also provided a Speech Therapy service for outpatients. As part of my role I also worked across the community team providing therapy input to patients in their homes.

After taking some time out to travel around the world in 2017, I returned to work at the Oxford Centre for Enablement as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist.

My aim is to provide client centred holistic care, involving family members and those close to patients to improve outcomes.
